The St. Joseph the Worker Ministry was founded in 1991 by Ed Coman and Bob Haas.

The Ministry is a not-for-profit organization of the Catholic Church.

The ministry offers practical as well as spiritual assistance to participants of all faiths.

Since its inception, over 2000 individuals have been helped in finding jobs.

Many local groups support the efforts of the St. Joseph the Worker Ministry.

St. Joseph the Worker Ministry is open to all.

We welcome those seeking full or part-time employment, as well as those contemplating new careers.

The Ministry consists of dedicated volunteers from the business community who offer career and job transition advice plus spiritual and moral support.

Assistance is provided in the areas of:

  • Resume Writing
  • Interview Coaching
  • Networking
  • Salary Negotiation
  • Letter Writing
  • Goal Setting
  • Career Changing
  • Personal Finance/Budgeting
  • Teaching/Enhancing computer schools of the members
  • Tips on using the Internet and Job Sites

Materials available include job leads from local firms.

Often there is a presentation on a job search related topic.
